Worn at: Otakon '04
Character: Little Neese from "Record of Lodoss War: Chronicles of the Heroic Knight".
Construction: Dress was made of orange cotton, following a pattern I altered. Red design was painted on, except along the bottom and armholes, where it was bias tape sewn on. Cape was just kinda thrown together without a pattern, and luckily, it worked ^_^. Brooch is Model Magic, painted, and the circlet is just wire and a piece of metal.
Baby Dragon (that pink plush thing) was made by me, with I pattern I designed and drafted. It was a bit of a challenge, but overall I think it came out well.
Notes: We love the "Welcome to Lodoss Island" bit that's on after each episode of the TV series. She really wanted to be Little Neese, especially after I said I could make a Baby Dragon plush for her to carry around. She loves that thing to death and even sleeps with it, hehe. I also figured this was the best character for her to be,
to go with our group.
Also, that basket she's carrying is supposed to be "cookies", a prop from "Lodoss Island".
