Worn at: Otakon '01, Katsucon '04
Character: Female Summoner from Final Fantasy Tactics
Construction: For the dress, I basically followed a Halloween pattern I found, altering it where I needed to. The dress is made from black cotton. The cloak is also from a pattern, but I omitted two pieces so that it looked right. The cloak is made from a green stretchy material and yellowish cotton, with gold trim.
Accessories: The horn, ah yes...basically, I made the pattern myself from red cotton, and I placed a styrofoam cone in to make it stiff. And it was really light too, I kept forgetting I had it on and would wack people when I would bend over ^_^ oops.
Notes: I wore this costume again to Katsucon 2004. There just isn't enough Tactics cosplay ^^
The staff is one I made for another costume, my Viera White Mage. I thought it went nicely with this too though. I also found a male summoner at Katsu, which was really fun!
