Worn at: Otakon '02, Katsucon '03, Philly Classic 5
Character: Princess Zelda from "Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time". This is the 'adult' version of Princess Zelda.
Construction: White skirt is made from Casa satin (beautiful fabric, in my opinion) with a pattern. White shirt was made for the most part following a pattern I already had. The pink overshirt was made without a pattern, and with some tweaking. Gloves were bought at Party City. The blue "runner" is made from satin and hand-painted with acrylics. The armor is embossing metal over foam, and spray-painted gold. The headpiece is Model Magic. Triforce earrings are foamies cut out and spray-painted.
Notes: I have always been in love with the "Legend of Zelda" game series. When I first played Ocarina of Time, I fell in love with Zelda. I love wearing this costume, and really feel like a princess in it! I must mention, I don't have the proper ears yet. I hope to make them sometime, but who knows.
